Existence Debuted
Following a Kickstarter campaign that raised over $1 million, Wonders of The First made its official product debut at The First Shattering, bringing the world of Wonders to life for the very first time.
The launch also introduced Stonefoils, Orbital Color Matches (OCMs), and First Edition Formless Foils, giving collectors their first look at some of Wonders of The First’s most exciting card treatments.
Existence Play Bundles followed in August 2025, in response to the growing demand for play products for both players and organized play. The bundles introduced Play Bundle Exclusive Alt Art Formless Foils, with Pinkspore Dreamcap and Moonfire Crystal Mouse becoming the first cards to receive this special treatment.
Call of the Stones Debuted
Call of the Stones made its debut at The Shattering, introducing the next chapter of Wonders of The First and some of the most exciting additions to the game yet. The set also marked the debut of Stoneseekers and the new Story Token mechanic. Additionally, this was the debut of the Echo treatment, which revisits a card from a previous set with new alternate artwork and a limited, serialized print run.
Call of the Stones introduced celebrity portrayals to Wonders of The First, with each celebrity taking on the role of a character within the game and appearing on special cards featuring on-card autographs. Tom Felton portrayed the Stoneseeker Vaylen Vos and appeared on the Collector Booster and Play Booster boxes, while Vaylen’s dragon and Story Token, Quantrus the Relentless, graced the cover of the Dragon Box.
The set’s celebrity lineup also included Ben Affleck, Arnold Vosloo, Emilio Estevez, and Chuck Liddell.
Trial by Combat Debuted
Trial by Combat made its debut on October 16 at The Shattering, opening the next action-packed chapter of Wonders of The First and introducing the new Dragonfoil treatment.
Orlando Bloom headlines the set and appears on the product boxes. Trial by Combat also features characters portrayed by an incredible celebrity lineup, including Ian McKellen, Alyssa Milano, Chuck Liddell, Dustin Poirier, Jon Jones, and Mike Tyson.
