We’ve got some exciting updates to share with you today. It’s been a wild journey since we began this adventure together on September 15, 2022. Fast forward to today, there are thousands of collectors and players across the world supporting Wonders of The First: Existence. We are now in the home stretch of getting the product into your hands! We couldn’t have done it without your support every step of the way.
Having raised over $1.2 million through Kickstarter, Wonders has been called the biggest upstart in CCGs with its innovative gaming collectibles framework that allows for a sustainable no reprint policy, which prohibits reprinting of cards once the print window closes. This policy maintains collectibility and integrity of gameplay. There’s a lot of innovation behind Wonders, and today we will be highlighting how we are continuing to push even more innovation through partnerships, features, and products.
NEW RELEASE DATE: MARCH 2025
During the Kickstarter campaign we made it clear that our quality standards are stringent so we may be a little slower this first print run as we make sure quality control is instituted at every phase of production. This is still the case as we plan to release the Existence Set in March 2025. In addition, we have some surprises for you as our way of saying thank you for your patience and continued support.
THE FIRST FREE GIFT: PRERELEASE PRESLABS GRADED BY TAG (DELIVERED BY CHRISTMAS 2024)
There are 407 cards in the Existence set (excluding tokens and promos.) Each card will have 24 Prerelease Proofs. All of these cards will be slabbed and graded by our partners at TAG (Technical Authentication & Grading). To the best of our knowledge, Preslabs have never been given to backers before. There are a total of 9,768 Preslabs.
Gift tiers are based on each Kickstarter backer’s pre-order total (by account and email.)

This partnership with TAG is an important step in helping us achieve our mission to create the most coveted collectible card games in the 21st Century. TAG is the industry leader providing consistent and accurate card grading solutions. TAG uses a patented photometric stereoscopic imaging system to grade cards. Check out their website to learn more.
THE SECOND FREE GIFT: ORBITAL GUIDE
Every Kickstarter backer will also receive one free Orbital Guide, featuring gorgeous oversized card art as well as an exploration into each Orbital. They showcase every card from that Orbital in the set and also serve as a collector checklist. A redemption process will be sent out so you can choose your Orbital.
UPGRADE FROM COLLECT & PLAY TO COLLECTOR BOOSTERS
We will only release Collector Boosters in March 2025. Play Boosters may come later during the Existence Set print window, which can be up to 2 years. Anyone who ordered a Collect & Play Booster at The National or via our Pre-Release Playtest Team will be upgraded to a Collector Booster.
THE FIRST SHATTERING: EXISTENCE CELEBRATION PARTY
We’re excited to share that we will be hosting The First Shattering: Existence, the ultimate celebration party March 21st – 23rd, 2025 in Columbia, South Carolina. We hope to see all the Stoneseekers there! We’ll be sending out more communications on this in the future.
THE FIRST CODEX CARD DATABASE & WEB APP – BUILT FOR COMPETITIVE PLAYERS AND COMPETITIVE COLLECTORS
We are proud to announce a strategic partnership with Carde.io, the leader in tabletop gaming Organized Play and Retail Enablement software, to bring in-person competitive play to local game stores through a one-stop digital gaming companion experience.
The First Codex, powered by Carde.io technology, includes a mobile-first app, card database, deck building tools, and dynamic tournament organization for managing and finding Wonders organized play events. In addition, deckbuilders will also be able to add up the “Build Points” of all cards in their decks to get a deck point value (called “Dynamic Balance Score” or “DBS”) used for easy tabletop matchmaking. This app is built for competitive players AND competitive collectors.
