Stoneseeker’s Voyage: Boundless

Welcome to another Stoneseeker’s Voyage where we explore the cosmic Orbitals in depth and give sneak peeks into card combos. Today we venture into Boundless, the Cosmic Expanse Orbital. Boundless is an ever-shifting mosaic of the material and immaterial, where nothing is as it seems.

Landmarks can slowly shift, grow, or fade away over the course of a single day. And even time can gently ebb and flow as unseen dimensions relentlessly grind against Boundless like intangible tectonic plates. This moving crossroads of realities allows many Boundless denizens to exist in multiple planes simultaneously. Here you’ll find beings from the far reaches of the cosmos. Monsters called Enigmas roam these lands, searching for prey that is invisible to our eyes. Angels, Demigods, and Luminals walk among the starlit mountains, connecting the divine and the mortal.

Interdimensional dragons of immense power make their homes here. The great and terrible cosmic dragon Purpuria lives here. It can slumber for eons before it ventures out to find food and wealth. If it’s dissatisfied, it has the power to remove that part of reality from existence.

People of all kinds thrive here in the shifting dreamlands, with towering civilizations that spread out even as their locations drift among the valleys and craters. The Children of the Void are worshippers of annihilation, striving to spread the purity of infinite oblivion. Standing against them are the Starweaver Knights, trained warriors and mages, suppressing the chaos that lurks in the spaces between worlds.

If you could see yourself becoming a master of Boundless, try these card strategies.

Card Combo #1 – Xyrendra of Dimensional Forces and Ethereal Warden

Xyrendra of Dimensional Forces is a strict cosmic spirit that stops opponents from gaining energy from stones. Your opponent may be low on energy, but she doesn’t listen to complainers.

Ethereal Warden is an Enigma that prevents opponents from seizing any stone in its realm unless they pay you 2 energy. And since it’s a secondary Wonder, you can have up to three of them in your deck.

Together, these two will keep your opponent starving for energy and struggling to keep up.

Card Combo #2 – God’s Eye Release and Starbound Colossus

God’s Eye Release is a massive board-wipe spell that banishes all primary and legendary Wonders from all realms. This by itself can be a devastating play, since your deck will surely be full of secondary Wonders that are immune to the Release. But if you have a Starbound Colossus (or three,) it gets +2 power for every card in banishment, including your opponent’s cards.

It can easily get to be 15 or more power, making it easy to defeat any enemies remaining!

Alright, Stoneseekers. That wraps up our trip across the endless shifting reaches of Boundless. Join us next time across time and space to continue our Stoneseeker’s Voyage. May your adventures bring you treasures.
