What is Wonders of The First CCG? A TLDR For Breaking The Collectible Card Game Mold

Engage in the ultimate showdown where you seek glory across realms filled with mystical and technological Wonders. A game where science fiction and fantasy intertwine, offering a fresh, captivating experience for collectors and players alike.

In Wonders of The First, players are Stoneseekers – powerful beings who control the fate of the Orbitals. They summon fighting units called Wonders. Players play Wonders into 7 realms to battle, conquer them, and gain control of the most stones.


Our mission is to create the most coveted CCG cards of the 21st Century.

We are building a physical tabletop called Wonders of the First CCG.

  • We are not developing a digital version at this time.

  • Great gameplay is a prerequisite for achieving this mission. Our game mechanics are fresh, innovative and fun.

We will not reprint cards. Ever.

Wonders of The First no reprint policy
  • This doesn’t prohibit additional factory “waves” while the print window is open (ie Lorcana First Chapter re-stocks). We specifically mean that we won’t reprint previously released cards in future sets.
  • In order to keep the game approachable for new players, without reprinting cards and staying true to our mission, we must consistently deliver fresh card dynamics in every set while keeping the dreaded CCG enemy known as power creep at bay.

Our lead game designer, Brian Tinsman, has 25+ years of experience of game design, including more than 10 years designing MTG and Pokemon sets and multiple game design books published.

  • Our team is loaded with highly skilled players with decades of experiences and those endemic to the world of CCGs. Meet them in Discord, on spaces and in our town halls.

IP rights to our Wonders (Characters) are decentralized among our community.

  • This supports our mission by enabling a vibrant community of builders to help proliferate the franchise IP with the CCG serving as the center of our shared product universe.
  • These rights can be bought, sold, and traded via collectible Character Proof tokens on the Ethereum Blockchain. Some are already owned by our community in Discord and there is a vibrant secondary market on marketplaces such as Opensea.
  • 3300 “claim tickets” are currently held as NFTs that redeem in Q3 for limited edition Serialized Booster boxes.

Aetherion of Boundless will be one of approximately 50 IP Inserts included. He would be like the god of Planeswalkers in MTG. Offers are already floating $5k+ for this card.

Imagine if you ripped a 1999 Pokémon 1st Edition pack and scored IP rights to commercialize Pikachu alongside the company. And you could sell those rights when you want. Thats our IP model in a nutshell.
