Stoneseeker’s Voyage: Heliosynth

Welcome to another Stoneseeker’s Voyage where we explore the cosmic Orbitals in depth and give sneak peeks into card combos. Today we venture to Heliosynth, the Mechanical Ring Orbital. In Heliosynth they believe few things in life are as revered as the technological advancements of society. The only lifeline for survival is to discover purpose within the many groups that populate this futuristic wasteland.

Vast inhospitable deserts are home to outlaws and nomads who roam the land in search of a better existence. For some, this means transcending their mortal coils through the evolution of technology. They seek to become Augmented or Bio-synths, replacing their imperfect flesh with steel and silicon.

If you enter the church of Heliosynth, they may ask you to remove your shoes… or legs.

Amidst this pursuit for perfection, advancement goes beyond the mind. Religious factions thrive here each with their own unique uncompromising doctrine. While societal rules do evolve over time, these changes are embraced by those who experience them with intense acceptance. These zealots – those who worship advanced weaponry…the  techno-crusaders and the AI hive mind cults – work toward mysterious goals. 

It’s unknown how many super intelligent AI deities command these groups but their ultimate goals have never been revealed to biologicals.

As the technology of Heliosynth continuously leads forward, as much as gained is also lost. Large ruins and monuments are scattered among the lands. Scientists and warriors such as Hex Hunter HX-11 seek resources to enhance their power.

Robotic lifeforms, such as the Lumina Scarab, have taken over where wildlife once thrived. In fact, you’ll be hard pressed to find a being not touched by artificial purity.

CARD COMBO #1: PROFESSOR TIBERIUS QUICKSILVER X XARA STRATOS X DUSTFALL DEADHEAD

With Xara’s ability, after you attack you may move an equipment you control to another wonder. Have fun constantly swapping your equipment from one value engine to the next as Tiberius lets you draw on your equip as Deadhead buffs up in power.

Sometimes in life you have to make sacrifices. In this case, those sacrifices are eating an Engine Heart to gain a whopping 9 faith. With Heliosynths unique faith mechanic you get a resource to convert into goodies by using wonders like Sister Azura to convert that faith into energy! Freely play your 10 cost giants like the Tremendous Automatic Sentinel while you pity the biologicals.
