What game got you into TCGs/CCGs?
Magic the Gathering for sure! Though, I love Hearthstone and Runeterra as well.
Would you consider yourself a collector, player, or both?
I would say I’m a player, I usually try to play games for as cheaply as possible. As a college student I lack the funds to collect much in the card world.
Do you have a favorite moment in your CCG career?
Running an entire commander board with a Relentless Rats and Thrumming Stone Combo. That or playing a perfect hand in MTG arena with a mono black discard with a fun agro combo to sack a rat, summon a demon, then kill any of their creatures with a dumb chupacabra.
What is your favorite WoTF Character Proof?
This is “Skcraw”, I love it since it really is something so unique that it would be hard pressed to be found in other mediums. A demon scarecrow with a flaming skull for a face in a burning field just really shows how original our worldbuilding can get.
What can people find you doing in your spare time?
I love to write, I’m a creative major and spend most of my time worldbuilding different books and creating fiction and game content. Additionally I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and play games like Hearthstone, Overwatch, and DnD.
Any tips for newcomers to Wonders of The First?
Enjoy the game as any other! We have a wonderful Discord community and some killer cards that you’ll fall in love with. As for gameplay, Boundless decks get real scary around round 7, so make sure to have something for their big wave then.
